Whether we are working on changing patterns of behavior around our relationship with food, ourselves or others, there is not a one-size-fits all solution. Gracious self-awareness is the first step.
Notice what food gives your body energy and lovingly feed yourself. You get to eat food that is nourishing. You get to listen to yourself.
Notice what things feed your soul and feed it consistently. For one person that might mean time with friends and family. For another it might mean a solitary walk in the woods.
All of us need a bit of everything but are you starving your soul in an area? Maybe you need more of one thing during different times in your life.
“What is useful for one is harmful for another.” Let’s be kind to ourselves and each other.
